Also called Mesclun, Field Greens or Spring Mix, this classic green salad mix originates in the South of France. It consists of a mixture of seasonal young leaves such as red and green oak, red chard, mizuna, red and green coral and mignonette. Sweet and crunchy to taste. Great in salads or use for gourmet sandwich filling. Available year round, with a peak growing period from spring to autumn.

Apart from being organically grown, these salads are packaged using the very latest in bio-degradable materials. The pre-pack bags are made of poly lactic acid (PLA), which is derived from corn resin, a renewable resource. The material is bio-degradable, meaning it breaks down simply and quickly so does not contribute to landfill or pollution. Traditional plastic packaging can take many, many years to break-down.
