Kuzu is made from the root of the hardy wild Kuzu plant. Kuzu adds a unique smooth texture to sauces, soups, noodle broths, custards etc.
Kuzu is prepared by crushing 1-2 teaspooms of Kuzu with 1 cup of liquid. Dissolve thoroughly with cold liquid before adding to soups, broths, custard etc and cook on a low heat until Kuzu becomes transparent.
